Futures workshops to inpire and connect

The "City Where We Belong" Program is our Panapaná. It is an initiative by Lab F+ that brings together social imagination, Futures Studies, and the mobilization of local actors to chart possible pathways toward more just, welcoming, and plural cities. Through workshops, public dialogues, and collaborative actions, we invite individuals, collectives, organizations, and institutions to imagine and begin building the desirable futures of their territories.

Every time we hold a workshop, we engage in...

1. Engaging local community actors

In each edition, we map and connect with local stakeholders from the area that will be the focus of the workshop.

2. . Call for Presentations

Our journey includes inviting local organizations and individuals to share how they’ve been transforming their communities.

3. The event

The workshop includes a moment to get to know the locality through its people, co-create a shared vision for a desirable future, and bring to life a collective initiative for the territory. Participation is free of charge.

4. Monitoring

Once an initiative is designed at the end of the workshop, Lab facilitates follow-up meetings to support the idea until it comes to life.

5. Spillover

As the initiative takes shape, Lab works to spread the co-created vision of the future across its networks and platforms, as well as those of its partners.
